This weekend we had a bridal shower, birthday party and over 50 portrait sessions that featured live baby chicks. When we got the baby chicks from Becky's farm (Kim, the owner's mom) on Thursday they were those ugly newborn alien looking things and by Thursday evening they had all grown several inches and fluffed up into adorable little fluffy things. By Saturday they were flapping their wings and luckily, they went home yesterday because the office smelled like a farm.

"Yes I am glad they are gone now. But they did grow on me. At first I thought WTF I was the adorable store mascot who do these baby chicks think they are coming in to take all the attention?! And then I broke down and booked myself a 15 minute photoshoot and even though one pooped on me, overall they were adorable"
